The ‘dream’ £1.5M home that Marcus Rashford plans to build on top of the golf course has encountered delays and remains stalled on the ’empty’ construction site

Marcus Rashford spent £1.5 million purchasing a golf course with plans to demolish the clubhouse and build his dream home. The 63-acre property was meant to be transformed into a luxurious five-bedroom residence, complete with a games room, a relaxation space, and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

However, according to The Sun, locals have reported that the construction site remains mostly deserted, with project activity described as “sporadic.”

A source revealed that this was Rashford’s passion project, and he was initially very excited about it. However, while the structure of the build appears close to completion, there is still significant internal work to be done. Additionally, the grounds require extensive landscaping, and maintaining the area that was once a golf course is expected to cost around £150,000 annually. Some are concerned that Rashford may have taken on more than he can manage.

Despite a challenging season on the field with Manchester United, Rashford has shown signs of improvement in recent performances.

He assisted Alejandro Garnacho in scoring an equalizer during United’s recent win over Brentford, and he both scored and provided an assist in their Europa League match against Porto.
