Carlo Ancelotti explained the club’s decision regarding two young talents in his press conference ahead of the match againstAtalanta.
The lack of real opportunities for Arda Güler, and especially for Endrick, has been a major theme in the debate surroundingReal Madridsince the start of the season. Although both players are talented, they have not had much playing time.
In recent months, rumours have emerged that both players could be moving away from Real Madrid, with a possible loan move in the upcoming January transfer window to gain more experience elsewhere and return to develop further as players.
However, Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed the decision the club has made regarding the two players. “Endrick is staying here, as is Güler. They may need more minutes, but I have no prejudice against anyone; I try to line up the best team for each match,” the Italian explained at a press conference ahead of the Champions League match against Atalanta.
On Atalanta’s form: “It’s a very difficult game; they are playing very well and have improved a lot since the Supercopa. They are very enthusiastic. The opponents are playing very well, and we have the opportunity to get points and use these three games to qualify.”
Doubts over Vinicius and Rodrygo: “Vinicius is fine. We need to assess how he feels in training today, as well as Rodrygo. Bellingham is fine. The doubts are only over Vinicius and Rodrygo; we will train today and make a decision.”
