Jude Bellingham scored for the fourth consecutive game, helping to ease Real Madrid’s concerns of Champions League elimination with a 3-2 victory over Atalanta, being received a warm hug from Micah Richards during the post-match interview

Jude Bellingham extended his impressive goalscoring run to four consecutive games, netting in Real Madrid’s 3-2 victory over Atalanta on Tuesday night.

Real Madrid entered the Champions League match needing a win to avoid slipping into a precarious position that could see them eliminated from Europe. Despite this pressure, Carlo Ancelotti’s side secured the three points thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., and Bellingham.

Mbappe opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a clinical finish after breaking through the Atalanta defense.

However, his evening was cut short in the 36th minute due to a thigh injury, and he was substituted shortly after. Reports indicate that Mbappe will undergo tests to assess the extent of the injury.

After Mbappe’s departure, Atalanta responded with a goal from Charles De Ketelaere just before halftime, making the second half even more crucial for Madrid. But after the break, Ancelotti’s influence saw Madrid take control, with Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. scoring to give the team a solid lead.

Bellingham’s goal was a standout moment, as he skillfully evaded an Atalanta defender with a shoulder drop before cutting onto his left foot and firing into the net. This marked his fourth goal in a row across all competitions, following a streak of five consecutive La Liga goals.

Atalanta made things nervy with a 65th-minute strike from Ademola Lookman, but Madrid held firm to secure the win and move up to 18th in the Champions League standings.
