Rasmus Hojlund took to social media to poke fun at Kyle Walker after the Manchester derby.
Manchester United claimed victory over their rivals on Sunday, with Amad Diallo playing a key role in their dramatic comeback in the final moments.
The win dealt another blow to Manchester City’s already poor run of form, leaving them with just one win in their last 11 games across all competitions.
After securing the victory, Hojlund aimed a playful dig at City captain Walker, following a clash between the two during the match.
After City took the lead through Josko Gvardiol, Walker fouled Hojlund as he tried to launch a counterattack. The two exchanged words and came face-to-face on the pitch before Walker theatrically fell to the ground. Replays later showed there was no significant contact, leading both players to be booked for the incident.
Gary Neville and Roy Keane were among those who criticized Walker, calling his actions “embarrassing.”
On Instagram, Hojlund posted a photo of the moment, adding a cheeky caption: “Manchester is red, violets are blue. What a brilliant performance, but the Oscar goes to…”
