Bellingham receives award dominated by Messi
Real Madrid youngster Jude Bellingham has been named the best playmaker of 2024 by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
This is one of the annual awards presented by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) since 2006. In this year’s vote, Bellingham came in first with an overwhelming score of 133 points, far surpassing Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne (96 points).
Notably, Toni Kroos, despite retiring after the 2023/24 season, still finished third according to the IFFHS rankings. In addition, the Top 10 rankings also include many other prominent names such as Musiala, Messi, Olmo, Wirtz, James Rodriguez, Calhanoglu and Odegaard.
