Nikola Jokic’s father shares the reasons behind his son’s preference for a simple lifestyle: ‘Nikola values the simple things in life. We’re planning to build homes for our three sons, each with their own car, and we’ll also be fixing up the stables to cater to his passion for horses’

Nikola Jokic’s father recently opened up about why his son, the NBA superstar, prefers to live a simple and grounded life despite his global fame and success.

According to his father, Jokic has always appreciated the basic, everyday things that many might overlook. “Nikola values simplicity,” he explained. “He’s not one to get caught up in the luxuries that often come with fame and fortune. Instead, he finds joy in the little things, the things that matter most to him and our family.”

To provide a better understanding of their family’s approach, Jokic’s father shared details about their plans for the future.

The family is in the process of building homes for their three sons, ensuring each of them has a place that reflects their personal needs and preferences. “Each of our boys will have their own car,” Jokic’s father added, indicating that while they live simply, they still value providing for their children in meaningful ways.

In addition to their family home plans, the Jokic family is also working to refurbish the stables, an investment that caters to Nikola’s passion for horses.

Nikola has long been known for his love of animals, especially horses, and his father mentioned how important this hobby is to his son.

By fixing up the hypodrome (an area for horses), they aim to give Nikola the space and the resources to fully immerse himself in his love for horses, away from the public eye.
