Midfielder Eduardo Camavinga gained 7 kg of muscle in just a few months by intensifying his training and applying new recovery methods

Midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has put on 7kg of muscle in just a few months, increasing his training intensity and adopting a new method to recover after Euro 2024.

Thomas Serafin, the Frenchman’s personal physiotherapist, believes Camavinga is on the right track in terms of muscle and fitness. “Camavinga will reach his peak in four or five years,” the expert told AS.

Serafin is giving Camavinga the Light Back, a specialized device that stretches and mobilises the sciatic nerve in a non-invasive way, to help the player recover or improve his fitness.

“It’s not a miracle machine, but it changes a lot in the recovery and muscle development of the player,” Serafin stressed.

Camavinga has suffered from a number of minor injuries in the past two years at Real Madrid. In August, the French midfielder suffered a knee injury that kept him out for a few weeks. However, with hard work and the application of the most advanced methods, Camavinga is back, even better than before.

“We work together four, even five days a week like in the recovery period,” Serafin revealed about the intensity of Camavinga’s training.
