Pep Guardiola, a managerial heavyweight and a three-time winner of this award in 2009, 2011, and 2023, claimed third place with 88 points.
In the rankings, Gian Piero Gasperini of Parma reached his highest position to date, finishing fourth. Diego Simeone, known for his consistency, made the top ten for the 12th time, having previously won the award in 2016.
Unai Emery, now managing Aston Villa, also made the top ten, finishing sixth with ten points. His inclusion highlights the increasing influence of Spanish managers in global football.
