It’s no surprise that their off-field relationship is as strong as their on-field chemistry, with Alexander-Arnold stating that he feels closer to Salah than to teammate Dominik Szoboszlai. He shared with Stadium Astro: “If I’m being honest, I’d say it’s Mo. We’ve known each other for a long time and played together, which has built our bond, especially on the pitch. Even when things get tough, we never complain to each other; we just understand how each other plays.”

The right-back also mentioned that he frequently visits Salah’s home for tea but never cooks, adding that Salah once recorded an embarrassing video of him during one of those visits.
