Inside the striking £5M home of Trent Alexander-Arnold, which he could leave behind after accepting an offer
Spanish reports indicate that he has expressed a desire to leave on a free transfer in the summer, a claim Liverpool has denied. According to Marca, the right-back is eager for a move to Madrid, especially since his close friend Jude Bellingham has found great success there.
Should Alexander-Arnold choose to make this significant decision, he would need to leave behind his opulent Cheshire mansion. He purchased the multi-million-pound property from former England teammate Raheem Sterling in 2022 when Sterling transferred from Manchester City to Chelsea. Spanning an impressive five acres, the five-bedroom home features numerous luxuries.
These include a swimming pool, cinema, games room, bar, wildlife pond, and paddock. Additionally, the England defender invested £50,000 in constructing a padel court in the garden. However, he did so without council permission and faced the possibility of demolition over neighbors’ concerns about noise disrupting their peace. The court spans 130 square meters and has side panels reaching a maximum height of four meters.
The council later determined that the building plans were acceptable and adhered to planning policies. Nevertheless, the Reds star had to remove four floodlights and hire landscapers to plant trees and hedges for privacy. The council concluded that the environmental impact of the construction was “relatively low.”
