Trent Alexander-Arnold Could Earn a $120M Deal If He Transfers from Liverpool to Real Madrid

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s contract with Liverpool expires this summer, and Real Madrid is ready to offer him a deal potentially exceeding $120 million.

The Liverpool right-back could earn over $120 million (£100 million/€120 million) if he makes the switch to Real Madrid. He is currently at the center of a bidding between two major European clubs.

Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold could potentially rake in over $120m (£100m/€120m) if he makes a move to Real Madrid

With only six months left on his contract and the possibility of leaving for free, Real Madrid sees a chance to sign him. Although their initial offer of $25 million (£20 million/$24 million) was turned down, the club is optimistic about reaching a pre-contract agreement.

Real Madrid is willing to provide a substantial financial package to attract Alexander-Arnold to Spain. They plan to significantly raise his current weekly salary of $220,000 (£180,000/€215,000), potentially increasing it to $500,000 (£400,000/€480,000) per week.

The major financial benefit would come from the signing-on fee. When Kylian Mbappe moved from PSG to Real Madrid last summer, he secured a signing-on fee of $158 million (£128 million/€154 million), spread over his five-year contract, in addition to annual earnings of $16 million (£13 million/€15.5 million), according to the Mirror.

While Trent Alexander-Arnold may not reach Mbappe’s extraordinary total package, he could still become one of the highest earners in the world if he chooses to relocate to Spain—a narrative that is gaining traction each week.
