Claims He’d ‘Knock Out’ Real Madrid Star Vinicius Jr. ‘In 10 Seconds’

RCD Mallorca defender Pablo Maffeo has stirred the with Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. by boasting that he could knock the Brazilian out in just ’10 seconds.’

The two have a history in La Liga, although it seemed they had recently moved past their previous conflicts. After a draw between Mallorca and Madrid in August, Maffeo shared with Jijantes that he approached Vinicius during a break to discuss their past.

“I went up to him and said: ‘Let’s put the nonsense aside. What happened last year is behind us; it doesn’t make sense to continue this way.’

“He responded, ‘yes, yes, no problem,’ and we were getting along well after that. Ultimately, it’s not a good look.”

“We share mutual friends who tell me he’s a decent guy off the pitch—and I trust that. I did step on him, but it wasn’t intentional, it was just a yellow card, and I apologized. But that’s behind us now,” Maffeo stated.

“I don’t think he’s a person. There are definitely some who are, but he doesn’t strike me as that type. He makes mistakes like anyone else, but I believe if he addresses a few issues, he could be very talented, and perhaps he will.”
