Guler engages in indoor training as Real Madrid prepares for their Copa del Rey claʂh

Real Madrid resumed training after their thɾιlling 2-1 win against Valencia. However, young midfielder Arda Güler was not part of the main training session due to flu-like symptoms.

Güler had already missed the match against Valencia because of the flu and trained indoors while the rest of the team engaged in physical and tactical exercises led by fitness coach Antonio Pintus.

His availability for Monday’s Copa del Rey match against Deportiva Minera will depend on his recovery. The 19-year-old has recently seen an increase in playing time, gaining the trust of manager Carlo Ancelotti.

This season, Güler has recorded one goal and three assists in 20 matches across all competitions and had started two of the last three league games prior to the match against Valencia.

Despite rumors linking him with a potential departure, the attacking midfielder is expected to remain at Real Madrid during the winter transfer window.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid is awaiting the Competitions Committee’s decision regarding Vinicius Jr.’s red card from the Valencia game. Even with the possibility of missing their Brazilian star, the team is anticipated to put forth a strong lineup against Deportiva Minera.
