Ancelotti is prepared to take control of the situation by naming a designated penalty taker, aiming to resolve the inconsistent approach to spot-kicks at Madrid. He stated, “It bothers me that we have missed three penalties; I think I have to take responsibility for choosing who is going to take them.”
