See Luka Modric deliver a classy finish to claim the title of Real Madrid’s oldest goal scorer

Real Madrid is having a fantastic outing against fourth-tier Deportiva Minera during their first-ever match in Cartagena, with Luka Modric scoring a fourth goal for Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

From the outset, there was no indication that Los Blancos would face any challenges in their Copa del Rey debut against Minera. Fede Valverde opened the scoring with a beautiful volley just six minutes in, followed by Eduardo Camavinga, who headed in a second goal before the 15-minute mark. Arda Guler added a third goal shortly after, effectively sealing the match.

In the second half, Valverde was substituted for Dani Ceballos, allowing him a rare rest. Real Madrid continued to push forward, with Modric effortlessly curling a shot into the corner of the net. Minutes later, the 39-year-old was substituted, marking him as the oldest player and goalscorer in the club’s history.
