Barcelona Wins Spanish Super Cup Again

Once again this season, Barcelona won a resounding victory in the El Clasico against Real Madrid.

In October, the two teams met in the Spanish Championship (La Liga). Barcelona embarrassed Real Madrid right at home at the Bernabeu with a 4-0 victory.

In the early morning of January 13, the two teams met again in the Spanish Super Cup final at King Abdul Sports City (Saudi Arabia). This time, Barcelona continued to win. They even settled the match early in the first half.

Real Madrid seemed to have an early advantage when Kylian Mbappe dribbled from midfield and opened the scoring in the 5th minute. However, the patchwork defense with midfielder Tchouameni having to play as a central defender with Rudiger left many gaps. The two full-backs Lucas Vazquez and Ferland Mendy also had a day, causing Real Madrid to lose heavily.
