Mbappe puts on a solo performance to score against Szczesny, yet still watches sadly as Barcelona takes the crown

After many missed opportunities, Barcelona equalized in the 22nd minute. Young star Lamine Yamal escaped, dribbled past two players and then finished gently, leaving Courtois helpless.

From there, a series of goals were created by coach Hansi Flick’s team. In the 36th minute, Lewandowski raised the score to 2-1 from the penalty spot. Before that, Gavi was the one who was kicked by Camavinga in Real’s penalty area. 3 minutes later, Raphinha headed the ball as if there was no one to help increase the gap to 3-1.

The more Real Madrid tried to push up to find an equalizer, the more they lost. Even a defender like Alejandro Balde could have scored after a quick counter-attack and then defeated Courtois in a one-on-one at the end of the first half.

At the beginning of the second half, Raphinha continued to dribble easily and raised the score to 5-1 in the 48th minute. The huge advantage helped Barcelona win despite many afterwards.

In the 55th minute, goalkeeper Szczesny received a red card after leaving the penalty area and knocking down Mbappe. Despite having one more player, Real Madrid only scored one more goal thanks to Rodrygo’s free kick in the 60th minute.

In the end, Barcelona won the Spanish Super Cup with a resounding 5-2 victory.
