Jude Bellingham has been ranked as the world’s most valuable footballer, while four Aston Villa players make it into the top 100

According to the CIES Football Observatory, Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid and England midfielder, is recognized as the most valuable player in world football.

The Stourbridge-born talent edged out Manchester City’s Erling Haaland to top the list of the 100 most valuable footballers, a ranking that takes into account factors such as age and contract duration.

CIES has valued the 21-year-old Bellingham at an impressive £209 million, while his former Borussia Dortmund teammate Haaland follows in second place at £184 million.

 

In the rankings, Aston Villa’s players also made an appearance: Rogers and Duran are positioned at 55th and 66th, with Watkins and Onana placed slightly lower at 93rd and 99th, respectively.
