Colombian footballer Luis Díaz, a pivotal player for Liverpool in the Premier League, is celebrating his 28th birthday today.

During the festivities, his wife, Gera Ponce, surprised him with a heartfelt gesture that resonated with the player’s fans. On her official Instagram account, she shared a touching message along with several photos highlighting their cherished moments together.

“Today I celebrate the life of the most wonderful man I know—my love, my partner, and the best father, husband, son, and friend. Words can’t express how fortunate I feel to be with you and how much joy you bring me every day. You are an extraordinary human being with a kind heart, and I only wish for it to remain unscathed,” she wrote.

Luis Díaz has been part of the Reds for three years, having joined under Jürgen Klopp in January 2022.
