Real Madrid has achieved the status of the richest football club by crossing the €1B revenue barrier

Real Madrid has solidified its position as the wealthiest club in global football by becoming the first to exceed €1 billion in revenue within a single year, according to Deloitte’s Football Money League.

The European champions reported a remarkable 26 percent increase in income, reaching €1.046 billion (£884 million) for the 2023-24 season, largely attributed to the full reopening of their renovated Bernabéu stadium.

This achievement places Real Madrid over €200 million ahead of their nearest competitor, Premier League champions Manchester City, who recorded revenues of €838 million (£708 million).
