In the second half, the home team increased the tempo of the match to find a goal. In the 57th minute, Lewandowski had a chance to open the score from a precise cross from his teammate, but the Polish striker’s header went just wide of the post. However, just 3 minutes later, he took advantage of the opportunity to tap the ball into an empty net, opening the score 1-0 for the match.

Despite conceding a goal, the Alaves players were not discouraged and continued to.
