Liverpool’s dream run to the Champions League final as Arne Slot’s side avoid more than 10 clubs until the semi-finals.

Liverpool have had a fantastic campaign so far in the Champions League and the Premier League, topping their group in convincing form. Liverpool therefore have every reason to believe they will reach the Champions League final, especially as their top spot in the group gives them a huge advantage in the knockout round draw.

Liverpool finished top of their Champions League group after winning seven of their eight matches. Arne Slot’s side won seven matches in a row and rested 12 key players to save energy, leading to a 3-2 defeat to PSV in the final group game as a formality.

However, thanks to Barcelona’s draw with Atalanta, Liverpool won the Champions League group stage and secured a place in the last 16. And now that has helped Liverpool avoid some of Europe’s heavyweights on their way to the Champions League final.
