Give it your all’ – Ibrahima Konaté’s motivational message for success

“Work so, so hard to keep going,” is the message from Ibrahima Konate as Liverpool aims for a successful 2024-25 season.

Following a 2-0 victory away at AFC Bournemouth, the Reds maintain a six-point lead in the Premier League, with a game in hand over nearest rivals Arsenal.

Meanwhile, under Arne Slot’s management, the team has progressed to the Champions League last 16 as seeds, winning seven out of eight matches in the league phase.

Looking ahead, they aim to reach Wembley by hosting Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final and face Plymouth Argyle in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round on Sunday.

‘Work so, so hard to keep going’, is the message from Ibrahima Konate as Liverpool push to ensure 2024-25 is successful.

“We have had a great start, and everything is fine for us at the moment, even in the Champions League,” Konate stated in a recent matchday program. “But the most important thing is that we start again and work even harder because we’re entering the second part of the season.”

He emphasized the need for continued effort, noting, “Everyone wants to us, so we have to keep going until the end. It will be very difficult, and we must work so, so hard just to remain calm.”

Konate added, “Of course, this title [the Premier League] is the only one that has been missing for me in England, and I really hope we can achieve it this season. We know all our fans are behind us, and we must do everything we can to succeed.”

Having made 21 starts this season, Konate partnered with Virgil van Dijk in central defense, achieving a clean sheet over the weekend. The duo has been outstanding throughout the campaign, both individually and as a partnership, with Konate expressing his admiration for his experienced teammate.
