Rashford’s small note left at school sheds light on one thing about MU
The small note Rashford left at school sheds light on the English star’s feelings about Manchester United.
Marcus Rashford was born in Manchester and played for Manchester United from a young age. Therefore, it is not debatable that Marcus Rashford loves and has a strong affection for the Old Trafford team. But Rashford has just left the “red devils” to join Aston Villa on loan for the rest of the season after he was not appreciated by coach Ruben Amorim.
Having to leave his childhood club certainly brings indescribable emotions to this 27-year-old English striker. Marcus Rashford revealed his desire to leave Old Trafford last December after being left out of the squad for the Manchester derby by coach Amorim. Rashford declared that he would not do or say anything to harm MU. Rashford has not played for United since 15 December 2024 amid public criticism of his lack of effort on the training pitch by manager Ruben Amorim.
Aston Villa will now sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent deal until the end of the season, with an option to buy in the summer. Aston Villa will need to spend £40m to do so. After leaving United to join Aston Villa, Rashford wrote on Instagram: “I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal possible.
I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me but Aston Villa was an easy decision. I have really admired the way Aston Villa have played this season and the ambition of the managers. I just want to play football and can’t wait to get started. I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season.”
However, it was the note Marcus Rashford left at his old school that attracted the most attention. This is a note that Rashford wrote when he was a schoolboy. Rashford posted the handwritten note on social media in November 2019. But now, the note has become popular again after Rashford left MU for Aston Villa.
