Vinicius Junior has successfully completed the takeover of a second-division Portuguese club, following the example set by his Real Madrid teammate Kylian Mbappe.
A consortium of investors from Spain and Brazil, which includes Vinicius, has taken over Liga Portugal 2 team Alverca after former owner Ricardo Vicintin sold his share. According to Record, the new ownership group will be announced in the coming weeks, and the current CEO, Matheus Ornelas, will continue to manage the club until the end of the 2024-25 season.
