Vinicius Jr. buys into a club! The Real Madrid star emulates Kylian Mbappe with his takeover of a second-tier Portuguese side

The official announcement from the Portuguese club stated: “FC Alverca – Futebol, SAD hereby announces that Eng. Ricardo Vicintin has sold his qualified stake in the public limited company to a group of Spanish and Brazilian investors.”

Vinicius becomes the second player in the current Real Madrid squad to invest in a European club, following Mbappe, who spent €20 million (£17m/$22m) last summer to acquire a majority stake in the French second-division team Caen.
