Children aged 5-11 of all skill levels can participate in these sessions, which will take place at 1,500 locations, led by FA-qualified coaches.
McDonald’s is also offering pan-disability and visual impairment sessions aimed at addressing the participation gap for disabled children in sports.
Earlier this year, more than 100 coaches completed specialized training as part of a groundbreaking coaching development program created in collaboration with BBC Children in Need, British Blind Sport, Kicƙ It Out, and England Futsal, ensuring that Fun Football coaches can accommodate any child and tailor sessions to their needs.
Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham, a McDonald’s Fun Football ambassador, stated: “We need to make grassroots football more accessible for everyone. Eliminating barriers to attending sessions is essential, which is why McDonald’s Fun Football is crucial for the future of the game.”
