Toni Kroos has just received the Golden Heart Award at the fundraising gala of the charity Ein Herz für Kinder (Heart for Children), founded by the BILD newspaper.
The award honors Toni’s contributions to society, particularly through the Toni Kroos Stiftung. Since its inception in 2015, the Toni Kroos Stiftung has helped many disadvantaged children and their families.
The Ein Herz für Kinder gala raised 23,627,158 euros, of which Toni also contributed 100,000 euros to the fund.

Toni Kroos will be honored with the Golden Heart award from the BILD aid organization at the “A Heart for Children” TV gala on Saturday evening, December 7, 2024.
Since 2015, the World Cup champion has dedicated himself to helping seriously ill children through the Toni Kroos Foundation, providing families with prompt and straightforward assistance to fulfill special wishes or fund therapies and aids that ease their often challenging lives. Toni Kroos personally covers the foundation’s expenses.
A remarkable footballer and individual: The Golden Heart is awarded to Toni Kroos.
A highlight of the event was Toni Kroos receiving the Golden Heart, during which he donated 105,000 euros. The 2014 World Cup winner utilizes his foundation to support seriously ill children and their families without bureaucratic delays. He personally finances the foundation. The honorary award from BILD was presented by Wladimir Klitschko and Katarina Witt, who praised him, saying: “To all the children watching us: Be like Toni; he is not only a great footballer but also a person with a big heart.”
