Liverpool’s win over Man City once again demonstrated Dominik Szoboszlai’s impressive form this season.

Dominik Szoboszlai collapsed on the pitch in exhaustion after Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Manchester City at the Etihad. The Hungarian had one of his best individual performances in the Premier League this season.

Szoboszlai was involved in both Liverpool goals, setting up Mohamed Salah before receiving the ball from the Egyptian and firing a powerful shot past goalkeeper Ederson. It was also the midfielder’s sixth goal in all competitions this season.

While Szoboszlai’s attacking brilliance earned Liverpool the goal, it was the midfielder’s enthusiasm that kept the Reds in the lead. Asked after the match about the fans’ chants of “we’re going to win the league”, Szoboszlai told Sky Sports: “I didn’t hear it, I was too tired.”
