Kylian Mbappé, a former star of Paris Saint-Germain, netted the first goal for Real Madrid in their UEFA Champions League ƈʅαʂԋ with Atalanta. This goal enabled him to reach a historic milestone alongside another ex-PSG teammate.
The French forward’s season in Madrid has been a mixed bag since he joined Real Madrid as a free agent last summer. At times, he seems to be adjusting well, while other moments suggest his transition could lead to trouble.
However, on Tuesday, the 25-year-old became the second youngest player to achieve a significant Champions League record, following Lionel Messi.

With his goal against Atalanta, the 2018 FIFA World Cup champion became the second youngest player to score 50 career UCL goals at 25 years, 11 months, and 20 days, trailing Messi, who reached this milestone at 24 years and 284 days.
Despite this accomplishment, Mbappé’s night was cut short when he had to leave the match in the first half due to an injury.
