Indeed, it is correct. The 23-year-old has been living in a two-bedroom apartment with his mother, girlfriend, and brother, even though he is expected to make up to $24 million this year.

Recently, Antetokounmpo paid $1.8 million for a property in River Hills, Wisconsin, according to local NBC affiliate TMJ4. A two-story guest house perfect for entertaining family members is located next to the five-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom residence. One wall opens to the outside pool and is completely retractable.

Soaring ceilings and dark-toned woodwork throughout the five-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom house create a large, roomy space for this basketball player, who is almost seven feet tall. One of the bathrooms has beautiful tile work that stretches to a walk-in shower and soaking tub, and another closet is the size of a bedroom and has bespoke built-ins.

The lower level is finished and has a wine cellar, home cinema, bar area, and lots of space to relax while watching sports on TV. The home gym rivals the size of most hotel fitness centers, which is one reason Antetokounmpo might have acquired this property.

The almost 10,000-square-foot house was constructed in 2005 and is located 15 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee, just off I-43. This 1,600-person town, which is regarded as one of the wealthiest suburbs in the Milwaukee area, has long drawn professional athletes to its 5.5 square miles.

Mirza Teletovic, a former Bucks player who sold Antetokounmpo this house, is on the list. The mansion was purchased by Teletovic for $1.6 million in January 2017 and listed for $1.9 million in June.
