Midfielder Eduardo Camavinga gained 7 kg of muscle in only a few months by upping his workout and using new recuperation methods

Midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has gained 7kg of muscle within just a few months by increasing his training intensity and implementing a new recovery method following Euro 2024.

Thomas Serafin, the personal physiotherapist for the Frenchman, believes Camavinga is progressing well in terms of muscle gain and overall fitness. “Camavinga is set to reach his peak in four or five years,” the expert shared with AS.

Serafin utilizes the Light Back, a specialized device designed to stretch and mobilize the sciatic nerve non-invasively, to aid in the player’s recovery and fitness improvement.

“It’s not a miracle machine, but it significantly impacts player recovery and muscle development,” Serafin emphasized.

Camavinga has experienced several minor injuries during his two years at Real Madrid. In August, the young midfielder suffered a knee injury that sidelined him for several weeks. However, with dedicated effort and the use of advanced recovery techniques, Camavinga has returned even stronger than before.

“We train together four, even five days a week, similar to a recovery regimen,” Serafin disclosed regarding the intensity of Camavinga’s training.
