The NBA sensation Giannis Antetokounmpo, often known as “The Greek Freak,” traveled to Portugal last weekend to attend the Afro Nation music festival at Praia da Rocha in Portimão.

On Friday, July 1, the Milwaukee Bucks’ six-time All-Star, two-time MVP, and one-time NBA champion posted a picture of himself and his fiancée at the event on his official Instagram profile, garnering more than a million “likes.”

Rapper Chris Brown, Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, and Megan Thee Stallion were among the many well-known artists that performed at Afro Nation, which took place from July 1 to July 3.

Fans from all around the world attended the event, including Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is widely regarded as one of the world’s top basketball players after leading the Milwaukee Bucks to their first NBA championship in 40 years in 2021.

He was chosen to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team that same year, making him one of the league’s greatest players of all time.

In 2019 and 2020, the 27-year-old great won two NBA MVP Awards in a row, becoming one of only two players in NBA history to do so before turning 26. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James also shared this distinction.
