Just before the NBA All-player Game started, TNT broadcast cameras captured the 26-year-old Milwaukee Bucks player and his 1-year-old son dribbling the ball to each other, causing Giannis Antetokounmpo and his son Liam to take over social media.
Antetokounmpo was asked what he will remember most about the game after taking home the Kobe Bryant Most Valuable Player Award.
He remarked, “Definitely my son,” “He’s never came to watch me play in the all-star game before. It’s for him. Simply put, having relatives out is enjoyable.
Bleacher Report documented an additional perspective of the unique father-son moment on location at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena:
With his family seated on the sidelines, Antetokounmpo blew a kiss after being introduced as a five-time all-star. He had expressed his wish that everyone would enjoy the short journey to Atlanta prior to the game.
“I’m going to enjoy myself,” he declared. “Savor the now. There’s no doubt that this All-Star (game) will be different, and it’s going to include some amazing athletes. Enjoy the moment since I never know when I’ll get to play with them again. I’m hoping my family will like it as well. And grin. Additionally, simply put an end to it, return home, and get some rest.
