Kylian Mbappe comes face-to-face with his incredible wax statue ahead of its Madame Tussauds London presentation next week

Kylian Mbappe often leaves defenders frozen, but now the roles have reversed.

That’s because the France and Real Madrid star has a new brother—an incredibly lifelike wax statue.

His doppelganger was unveiled in Madrid and will soon travel to Madame Tussauds in London.

Mbappe collaborated with the Madame Tussauds team in London throughout the months-long process and was thrilled with the outcome.

“Oh, wow. The new jersey, even the new boots. That’s me. I love it, amazing,” he said in perfect English.

“Oh my God, you’ve got everything, guys. It’s really, really fun, yeah.”

Kylian Mbappe was delighted with his wax figure, which will be displayed at Madame Tussauds in London.

The Real Madrid and France forward could hardly believe how realistic it looked.

He reacted with surprise and called it a “big honour” to be immortalized this way.

The Real Madrid and France star could scarcely believe that his likeness was real

“It’s a big honour. I want to thank everyone who worked on this project because it’s a huge achievement for me, a big honour to be part of the Madame Tussauds family.

“I’m really happy, even more so after seeing the results. It’s amazing, and I’m proud to be here to witness this. It’s a big day for me.

“I love visiting the city, going to restaurants, and experiencing a bit of the local culture.

He reacted with shock and called it a 'big honour' to be remembered in such a way

“As a footballer, you travel a lot, and it’s great to see new cultures, meet new people, and experience different lifestyles. It’s always a pleasure, and London is one of the best cities in the world.

“It’s a perfect job, and I’m really happy with the results.”

Mbappe’s eyes lit up as soon as he saw the figure, and the 26-year-old traced his finger along its face, just to confirm it was real.

The Mbappe family is expanding because, believe it or not, this isn’t his first wax figure.

Last year, he encountered another version of himself at a pop-up event in Paris, wearing a blue France kit instead of white.

According to L’Equipe, it took four hours of detailed facial and physical analysis to capture his likeness, with Mbappe later stating, “It’s 100 per cent me!”
