Linkin Park has revealed that their next album, From Zero, will be available on November 15.
They played a 16-song set at their debut performance with new singer Emily Armstrong (Dead Sara). Additionally, the band released a brand-new song called “The Emptiness Machine.”
It goes without saying that Linkin Park is entering a new era with this eighth full length. The group showed incredible growth from their Hybrid Theory debut in the 2000s to One More Light in 2017, demonstrating a willingness to try new things and take risks.
According to Mike Shinoda, “Xero was our original band name before Linkin Park.” This album’s title alludes to our modest beginnings as well as the path we are currently on. Sonically and emotionally, it embraces our distinctive sound while being fresh and vibrant, including the past, present, and future. It was created with a great deal of gratitude for our fans, friends, family, and both new and old bandmates. We are thrilled about the future of Linkin Park and proud of what it has grown into over the years.
“The more we collaborated with Emily and Colin, the more we appreciated their exceptional skills, their companionship, and the products we produced. With this new lineup and the energetic and lively new song we’ve created together, we feel incredibly invigorated. We’re combining our well-known acoustic touchpoints while also investigating new ones,” Shinoda adds.
Seven years after Chester Bennington’s tragic death, Linkin Park is now on the road. They have reissued their most iconic albums with anniversary editions in the years between records, which include previously unheard songs by the late co-vocalist.
At first glance, this album seems to be the most anticipated rock release of the year and the past several years. Linkin Park released a full-on pop album with One More Light, and fans are naturally curious to see what route they’ll take From Zero.
