Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family, after leaving Hollywood, were in Sepolia for the premiere of the movie Rise.
The official screening of the movie “Rise: The Antetokounmpo Story” (the Greek title of the movie) took place at the Triton Stadium in the neighborhood where the Greek Freak grew up.
Together with his brothers, Thanasis and Alex, Giannis Antetokounmpo was in Sepolia and he received a warm welcome there. The famous NBA player kept signing autographs, taking pictures with people and receiving love and hugs from everyone.

Antetokounmpo’s mother, Veronica, was also present at this special event to honor her son and her family. She loves Greece very much and never stops bragging about her sons.
Francis Antetokounmpo was also present at the movie screening in Sepolia. The older brother of the family stayed behind in Nigeria when their parents moved to Greece. He sings three songs that we also hear in the film, and is particularly emotional. The crowd is especially excited, especially the kids from the Antetokounmpo academy who get to see their idol up close. The film starts off a little slow because of the affection the family receives, and is especially touching with Giannis Antetokounmpo and his mother sobbing.
