Linkin Park deserves a huge congratulations because their new album, From Zero, has reached the top of the charts in ten different nations.
On November 15, the band’s much awaited comeback album—their first with new vocalist Emily Armstrong—was released.
It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in the United States and officially peaked at the top of the album charts in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Australia, and New Zealand.
Golden Hour: Part.2, the Kpop trio Ateez’s most recent album, was released on the same day as From Zero and took the top spot on the U.S. list. Even still, it’s a remarkable accomplishment because No. 2 is the highest a rock album has charted in 2024.
Armstrong is also receiving chart recognition for the first time.
In an interview with Mike Shinoda, the singer exclaimed, “That’s so insane, thank you so much,” after learning that the record had reached the top spot in the UK charts.
“I’m so f–king grateful. This is really bizarre. I’m definitely freaking out since it’s my first No. 1.”
“I don’t know what our last No. 1 was, but it was a very long time ago,” Shinoda added. This is awesome. It’s significant to all of us.

In late August, Linkin Park began hinting at their comeback, seven years after Chester Bennington’s passing. During an intimate concert in Los Angeles, the rock band introduced “The Emptiness Machine,” revealed Armstrong as their new singer, and announced From Zero and a few shows in early September.
At first, fans’ opinions on Linkin Park’s choice to return were divided, and it was difficult to process everything at once. However, as they say, time heals all wounds, and it’s clear that a large portion of the public was happy with both From Zero and their reunion.
