Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks and his siblings are launching a store at a new hotel in the downtown area that will sell apparel, hats, and other goods bearing their family name.
The first level of the future Trade Hotel, located at 420–434 W. Juneau Ave., is where the Antetokounbros Shop is intended to be. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to the 2021 National Basketball Association title at Fiserv Forum, which is located directly across the street.
A construction permit application submitted to the city’s Department of Neighborhood Services includes information about the shop’s ambitions.
The store’s address, as listed on the building permit application, is 423 W. Juneau Ave.
However, the permit application lists the Madison-based investors group that owns The Trade as the property owner’s contact, thus that was a clerical error.
According to Andy Inman, chief development officer at NCG Hospitality, the company that runs The Trade, the store will open in late August.
Giannis, Thanasis, Kostas, Alex, and Francis Antetokounmpo founded their first Antetokounbros store at Athens International Airport last year.
Additionally, their company offers goods on its website, antetokounbros.shop.
T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, hats, coffee mugs, and other things bearing the Antetokounbros logo and the slogan “We Are All Bros.” are among the products sold by Antetokounbros Shop.
Giant Heart, which aids underprivileged areas in Greece, the Antetokounmpo family’s native country, is supported by the company’s profits.
An inaccurate store location was mentioned in an earlier version of this article.
