American rock band Linkin Park has been on a successful tour of Mexico with their From Zero World Tour, which is still ongoing. Tonight, the band will play for Monterrey fans at a scheduled concert at the Banorte Stadium in Monterrey.
Their tour began last Friday with their first show in Mexico City, where they delighted fans with a packed crowd at the GNP Seguros Stadium.
This Monday, February 3, they arrived at their second stop: Guadalajara, also with a sold-out Estadio 3 de Marzo, which saw their first two-hour show at Perla Tapatía, playing the band’s greatest hits as well as new songs.
In Guadalajara, they kicked off their concert with an introduction to Vicente Fernández’s El rey, and then took the stage for their first musical number, which included Somewhere I belong, Crawling, and New divide.
They were followed by The Catalyst and Burned It Down in concert, as well as Numb, In the End, Papercut, and Bleed It Out
Linkin Park, consisting of Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Joe Hahn, Emily Armstrong, and Colin Brittain, performed a selection of tracks from their latest album From Zero, their first full-length album since 2017, which officially ushered in a new phase for the band, following the death of lead vocalist Chester Bennington and the arrival of new vocalist Emily.
It is well known that there are differences between Chester Bennington and Chester Bennington, however, this new singer has proven herself to be a great factor, without comparing her work with that of the late singer, because her style is very different.
At this concert in Perla Tapatía, the audience also showed their affection for Emily when they chanted her name several times after listening to some songs such as Keys to the Kingdom and Two Faced.
