Epic night in Texas! Linkin Park hit the stage with a special surprise — Page Hamilton joined them for a performance of “All For Nothing”

At their performance on Friday, November 8th, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, Linkin Park gave their fans a couple unexpected surprises. Helmet frontman Page Hamilton joined the band for the live premiere of the song “All for Nothing,” and the newly released tune “Casualty” made its world premiere as well.

Linkin Park say new album will be released this year

When Linkin Park’s 2014 album The Hunting Party was released, Hamilton was featured on the studio version of “All for Nothing.” But until Friday’s performance, the band had never played the song live.

“A little while ago, we made this album called The Hunting Party,” Mike Shinoda, co-vocalist for Linkin Park, said as he presented Hamilton to the audience. We wrote a song with Page for it, and we want to present you to something special. “All for Nothing” is the title of this one. Create some sound!

Shinoda opened the song with rapped lines, while Hamilton handled the chorus, which featured vocals from Emily Armstrong, a recent addition to Linkin Park.

A few tracks later, Linkin Park released “Casualty,” a new song off their next album off Zero, which will be out this Friday, November 15. Armstrong’s savage shouts are heard throughout the song, which leans toward the heavier end of Linkin Park’s sonic range.
