According to the site, the Milwaukee Bucks player stated that they “were able to have all of the people that were close to us, our family,” and that they chose the venue “as a couple.” His hometown was “four hours away” from the ceremony.

“Most of my teammates, Bucks teammates, ex-teammates… they were there… friends and business partners,” he added, adding that they were accompanied by a large number of loved ones. “The short days we spent there together were amazing. We enjoyed ourselves,” Antetokounmpo remembers. It was an occasion to celebrate our love. We’ve united now. And I’m glad we succeeded. It seems like a lot of folks enjoyed themselves.

Those who have been following the couple aren’t entirely surprised by the announcement, as Riddlesprigger posted pictures of what looked to be a bridal shower on Instagram on September 10. She donned a white dress and a veil with the words “bride to be” embroidered on it in the photos.

“No better feeling,” she said as the post’s caption. A few pictures of herself standing in front of a sign that said “Mrs.” were also uploaded by her.

Despite being together for a number of years, the couple has always maintained a low-key relationship. During a press appearance last September, they subtly revealed their engagement. “Soon [I’m going] to be married to this beautiful woman next to me,” Antetokounmpo stated in reference to their charity work with the Diaper Mission in Milwaukee.
