Until they are made public, Apple’s newest products are often held under strong lock and key.
However, it seems that one well-known person has been able to obtain an impending gadget before it is even released.
LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has been seen with what looks to be a brand-new Beats speaker.
Although Apple has not yet confirmed or denied the speaker’s authenticity, its followers have taken notice.
“Beats x Bron collab?!,” an enthusiastic Instagram user proposed.
The speaker was shown in a video that the Los Angeles Lakers account uploaded to Instagram with the simple phrase, “Hoodie Bron.”
LeBron has a gold pill-shaped gadget in his right hand and is dressed in black pants and a black hooded jacket.
This is the first Beats speaker that we have seen with a Beats logo and a short lanyard around.
It should come as no surprise that a lot of people are making guesses regarding the device in the comments section.
One user proposed the “Unreleased Beats Pill bluetooth speaker.”
‘Is that the new Beats Pill?’ someone else wrote.
‘How much did Apple give you for advertising this new Beats thing?’ one person joked.
Apple has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
This is not the first time Apple has used a famous person to endorse a Beats product.
Kim Kardashian and the tech giant have already worked together on a line of skin-tone headphones.
“I wanted to break away from the idea that headphones have to be colorful to make a statement,” Kim stated in a statement at the time.
“Beats is renowned for producing goods that highlight individuality, and this collaboration is unique because it lets you stand out or blend in.”
