LeBron James just helped the Los Angeles Lakers win a long-overdue NBA Championship, earning him yet another one.
As he works with the ideal workout partner, the four-time NBA Finals MVP has already made his comeback to the court.
After working off their Thanksgiving dinner with a private basketball session in Los Angeles, he and his oldest son Bronny departed the gym on Friday, showing off a pair of his unreleased Nike LeBron 18s.
.
The 35-year-old was wearing a hoodie with a Muhammad Ali design, white ESNTLS basketball shorts, and neon orange slip-on sandals that featured his King James emblem.
As he left the gym with Bronny, 16, and his sports agent Rich Paul, 38, he wore a Henry Mask facial covering and carried a pair of his new Nikes, which will retail for $200 later this year.
Last month, Bronny (LeBron James Jr.), a sophomore in high school, turned 16 years old. He is a rising star on the Sierra Canyon basketball team.
Through his school’s squad, he has appeared on ESPN multiple times and has already won a few titles.
According to a recent 247Sports prediction of the top recruits in the class of 2023, Bronny will commit to Duke University, ranking him at 19.
.
In a 2018 Instagram comment, the elder LeBron also hinted at his son’s college prospects by writing of Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski: “I hope he’s still at the helm when my boy comes up.”
Regarding his then 10-year-old, he previously told CBS Detroit in 2015: “Yeah, he’s already got some offers from colleges, it’s pretty crazy.” It should be illegal to recruit children as young as ten years old.
Earlier this week, LeBron posted pictures from another father-son training session to Instagram with the caption, “Barely flex, but don’t play with us, PERIOD!” #JamesGang
The little prodigy’s growth has been observed by fans and industry experts, as he has recently emerged as an exact replica of his athletically gifted father.
Co-host Skip Bayless made the following statement on a different recent image this week on Undisputed: “Discuss a growth spurt.” I said, “He looks 6’5” when I saw this.
.
His father, then, is 6’9. Is Bronny six feet seven? Who knows? But once more, it appears that He appeared to be 6’1″ the last time I saw him, when he was a freshman in high school. Unless LeBron had this photoshopped, I mean, but I’m not sure.
He continued, saying that early assessments of Bronny’s potential as a collegiate basketball player suggested that he would be merely competent. Even after giving him that spurt, I believe he still has a few inches left to grow.
“It’s going to be hard to see a situation where he won’t be a beast,” co-host Shannon Sharpe added. He is inheriting his father’s body.
LeBron has enough for his own team. He married Savannah Brinson, 34, his high school sweetheart, in September 2013, and they have three children together: LeBron Raymone Jr., 13-year-old Bryce Maximus, and 6-year-old Zhuri Nova.
